Description:

CT DDS may provide adult participants with transitional supported employment (TSE), a time limited service to help individuals learn skills to work in competitive integrated employment. TSE services are delivered in large and small group and provide participants with opportunities to learn:

• Skills for employment, such as time-management and strategies for completing work tasks;
• Socially acceptable behavior in a work environment;
• Effective communication in a work environment; and
• Self-direction and problem-solving for a work task.
